Who is Jacquie Daniels?

Jacquie Daniels is a force to be reckoned with in the world of country music. A proud Cree-Métis Outlaw Country artist with deep roots in the Red River Settlement, she merges heritage with a rebellious, modern edge that captivates audiences and defies expectations. Known for her powerhouse vocals, commanding stage presence, and heartfelt storytelling, Jacquie embodies the spirit of true outlaw country—unapologetic, resilient, and fiercely authentic.

Her career is marked by standout achievements. In 2024, she was named Songwriter of the Year at the prestigious International Josie Awards in Nashville, a testament to her lyrical strength and artistic vision. The year prior, she claimed Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year at the North American Country Music Awards International (NACMAI)—solidifying her status as a dynamic performer with staying power.

Her chart-topping single “Small Town Beauty Queen” hit #1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown and was featured on Apple Music Indigenous playlists, showcasing her ability to blend rich storytelling with melodies that resonate across generations.

With support from the Canada Council for the Arts, Jacquie was recently selected for the MMF Export Program to The Great Escape Festival in the UK and is currently being mentored through the MMF Canada Bespoke Program under Laurie Brown. Whether performing solo or backed by her band, The Blank Slates, Jacquie Daniels commands every stage with grit, heart, and undeniable charisma. Adorned in rhinestones and wielding a guitar, she brings a fire that can’t be faked. Her motto says it all:
